Torniamo su un argomento spinoso, doloroso (letteralmente), che fa scappare tutti a gambe levate…le punture! Ma di ape? Di vespa? C’é qualche differenza? Sí! Che differenza c´é? Abbiamo giá parlato di punture d’api, ma non ci siamo mai soffermati sulla differenza tra le punture di vespe e di api, piú in particolare cosa succede proprio alla vespa e all’ape in quel frangente…Tra l’altro non lo sapevo nemmeno io, é una cosa che ho scoperto questa estate e mi va di condividerla con te.

Insomma oggi con questo articolo ci guardiamo un po’ insieme! Ti va?

Le punture di vespe…sono come quelle d’ape?

Ma da dove caspita mi é venuta l’idea di scrivere un articolo del genere? Faccio un passettino indietro. A Luglio io e la Maya, la nostra dolce piccolina, siamo state in vacanza con zii e nonni in Sardegna. Bellissima terra ricca di tradizioni, sapori inconfondibili, mare cristallino e natura selvaggia. Ce la siamo proprio goduta, l’unica cosa non proprio simpatica era la quantitá enorme di vespe in spiaggia. Con mio gran dispiacere, TUTTI e dico TUTTI appena ne vedevano una la scacciavano o si davano alla fuga gridando „oddio quante api!“. No, erano vespe. Di api non ne ho vista manco mezza tra l’altro. Comunque…

Ma come mai tutte queste vespe?

Non c’era niente di strano, era ormai iniziata quella parte della stagione povera di risorse nettarifere, e andavano alla ricerca di cibo dove ce n’era. Sta di fatto che erano senz’altro fastidiose, non lo si puó negare! e…mi sono beccata la mia prima puntura di vespa, ma non solo! Pure la Maya, e lei ben 2 volte!

Cosaaa???

Ebbene sí, quindi primissima volta anche con le punture di vespe, ho potuto confrontarle con quelle di api e ho avuto modo di fare delle riflessioni. Eccotele qua:

  • Fa male uguale: non é né piú né meno dolorosa di quella dell’ape (é come una mini scarica elettrica, o come un forte pizzicotto), non si muore di dolore ma si fa sentire. Qualche minuto dopo non sentivo giá piú niente e lo stesso per la Maya. Povera, ha pianto tanto tanto sul momento, ma poi come nuova (certo, nel nostro caso, non siamo allergiche)
  • e il pungiglione?: Ecco quando la Maya era stata punta, stavo cercando disperatamente dove fosse il pungiglione, per levarglielo il prima possibile. Essendo piccola piccola, non si sapeva spiegare ovviamente e mi stava salendo l’ansia perché non riuscivo proprio a trovarlo. Dov’era? Dove caspita era stata punta? Niente, non c’era. Bo. Raccontando poi l’accaduto a papá Basti mi dice „Le vespe non perdono il pungiglione!“ (facepalm / sospiro di sollievo) e cosí passiamo al punto 3
  • che fine fa la simpatica canaglia a puntura avvenuta?: l’ape muore, la vespa no. Come avevamo giá accennato, quando le api pungono perdono il pungiglione, che rimane bloccato nella pelle del malcapitato, tranciando peró il corpo della povera ape. Le vespe invece no, pungono e se ne vanno via strafottendosene. Pertanto, una buona differenza che vi puó far capire se si tratta di punture di vespe o meno é il fatto di trovare il pungiglione: se lo trovate si trattava di un’ape, ma se non lo trovate era proprio una vespa.

Sapevi di questa differenza sostanziale? Per me era una novitá, lo ammetto…E tu, sei mai stata punta da una vespa?
